Have you ever found yourself not just looking at a painting, but truly feeling it, letting it move something inside you? If so, we already share a quiet undertanding.
For me, painting, especially through the unpredictable beauty of fluid art, is a way to translate the shifting currents of my emotions and energy, both within me and around me. I'm drawn to the delicate dance between nature and abstraction, weaving them togethe rto create compositoins that pulse with movement and color. I hope that each piece stirs a genuine emotional response, inviting ou to experience rather than simple observe.
My Art Journey
I grew up surrounded by a creative family of painters and writers. I loved to draw, paint and I've even wrote a few books. As a kid, my parents let me paint my bedroom walls in neon colors and then let me paint whatever I wanted on them. Then I grew up, went to college, got married, had kids, and built a career. Along the way, I stopped painting because I was busy adulting. Years later, I wish I could say I started painting again because it had always been my passion. But that’s not my story. Instead, after struggling through tragedy and years of grief after our youngest son passed away, painting found me again. It took a simple, random art project to capture the first glimmer of hope that I needed to start moving forward. Now art heals a bit of my soul everyday.
